Edgar A. Rupprecht

Edgar A. Rupprecht, born in 1888, was a Chicago area painter. He attended the Art Institute of Chicago between 1907 and 1911. He was a protégé and assistant of Frederick Frary Fursman. Rupprecht's paintings were exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago between 1916 and 1948. He taught painting at Ox-Bow and the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His work is currently represented in the permanent collection of the Chicago Union League Club.
