Larry Laslo
XX - XXI century
Larry Laslo is one of America's leading interior designers. Few realize that he is also an accomplished artist. His artistic talent became evident at a young age; in high school he won dozens of painting contests and was awarded a scholarship to the Philadelphia College of Art. There he studied painting, sculpture, ceramics and interior design. After completing his education Laslo worked as an art director and freelanced as an illustrator for Vogue, GQ, Harpers Bazaar, Playboy and the New York Times. Laslo has designed for Bergdorf-Goodman and Mikasa and his work has been seen on HGTV and in Architectural Digest. As an artist, Laslo likes to paint nature and focuses on color and form, employing both figurative and abstract design.
