Valery Shmatko

Valeri Shmatko was born in 1965 in Harkov, Ukraine. After a series of art exams, he was admitted to the Harkov Fine Art Institute where his advanced art education lasted a full six years. Valeri graduated from the Fine Art Department of the Harkov Fine Art Institute in 1988, with a major in oil painting. Many of Shmatko's works can be found in private collections in the former USSR territories and in the US, Great Britain and Japan.
